CyoHash

CyoHash is a free shell extension that is used from within Windows Explorer to calculate the MD5 and SHA1 hashes of a file, which are displayed in a mixture of encodings (hex, base32, and base64).

installation

Simply download and run the installer (you'll need administrator privileges for this).

usage

In Windows Explorer, right-click the desired file and select CyoHash.

configuration

It's possible to configure the internal buffer size (by default it's only 1 MB); to do this, create a DWORD value called BufferSize in the registry under this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cyotec\CyoHash.
