CyoArgs

[download] [support]

description

CyoArgs is a free shell extension that is used from within Windows Explorer. It allows right-clicking on an executable file and supplying arguments to run the exe with, saving you the trouble of launching a Command Prompt or using Run from the Start Menu.

installation

A setup program is not currently available for installing CyoArgs, although a simple batch script (Install.bat) is included with the DLL that attempts to copy the extracted files to a folder, i.e. C:\Program Files\Cyotec\CyoArgs.

Then execute Register.bat from the CyoArgs folder. Alternatively, to register the DLL using the command prompt: first go to the folder containing the DLL, then type regsvr32 CyoArgs.dll. (Note that regsvr32.exe must be accessible via the path environment variable - it can usually be found in %windir%\system or %windir%\system32.)

If you receive the following error message:

LoadLibrary("CyoArgs.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found.

then you'll need to download msvcr70.dll, copy it into the CyoArgs folder, and re-execute Register.bat.
